Whilst I can access my Navtrak I am thinking about disconnecting it. If I just disconnect the power does anyone know if it will affect starting etc.? I am assuming it is linked to the starter or immobiliser.

I don't believe the standard on is anything but a tracking device... so unless you have a 'special' version.

Saw mine the other day when I removed some interior. Umm’d and Eer’d about disconnecting it but as Zep told me you have options if it’s still connected and the unthinkable happens.

The battery for it happily flashed green for over a week so it’s good and left it connected.

Had car running today. Disconnected the Navtrak. Stopped it, started, moved, locked and unlocked. No issues so far.

Main plug is easily diconnected by pushing in the centre (3 lines) and sliding the lock over it. I have taped it up to be safe.
