Mysterious beeps on GTS startup

Shortly after starting my GTS, I hear 5 very faint beeps. Anyone know what they mean?

They beep like mad! Probably checking parking sensors - those seem to be last on the list.

It means the car has a tracker present.

Tracker = battery drain

Indeed, but they only drain the main battery if the tracker's own battery is in need of replacement and then it switches to the alternate power source.
Your tracker company should be able to arrange to have your battery checked for you

I have a tracker on build sheet, and I have battery drain, not last week if left, good job it's a DD. How do u get it out? I've no key fob for it so I guess it's defunct.

This is where you say it's either a simple unplug (no chance) or you have to dismantle the entire boot (100% chance).......

Tracker = battery drain

All post 2005 Maseratis had them fitted. As Stuart says, they only drain the battery when their own internal battery is goosed.

I think they only beep when the battery is goosed though? That is the case on the GranSport at least.

At least the siren doesn't go off, when its battery is fkd, as I my case. They tuck them away too, tw#ts!!
