Nice to see the period tinted lights.
Remember first driving in France 30 years ago and many daily driven cars still had the amber tint.
Maybe no glare, but can you actually see where you are driving?!
Wasn't it a requirement to buy tinted light covers when visiting France? I vaguely recall my Dad having a set for his Triumph 2.5Pi in the 70's

It was all to stop glare Mike.
They seriously look as Cool as can be and I'm in a Club for cars with yellow headlights the only Englishman too.
White lights are better in my opinion especially as your eyes get older.
But if you want to be Cool

Mainly because they think it's the car that a famous and most wanted criminal in France was assinated by the Police in Paris but his car was the 528i.

My next door neighbour calls me Public Enemy No1 since I bought my car and it always comes up in conversation when I go to car meets as my 628csi being an early Phase 1 was based on the E12 528i.
It's a fascinating story.

I wonder if the gendarmes referred themselves to the French Equivalent of the Independent Office for Police Conduct after spraying bullets in the general direction of the criminal. Clearly an innocent victim got in the crossfire...the 528i

Nice song, catchy tune. But making a song about Rotterdam....what's the world coming to.

I was on a boat yesterday talking to the technical manager. Turns out he's from the same home town I am, so asked him if he still lived there. "No" he said, "that's the promised land ( ) now live in Rotterdam for work and the wife." That says it all.
