It was all to stop glare Mike.Nice to see the period tinted lights.
Remember first driving in France 30 years ago and many daily driven cars still had the amber tint.
Maybe no glare, but can you actually see where you are driving?!
Wasn't it a requirement to buy tinted light covers when visiting France? I vaguely recall my Dad having a set for his Triumph 2.5Pi in the 70's
They seriously look as Cool as can be and I'm in a Club for cars with yellow headlights the only Englishman too.
White lights are better in my opinion especially as your eyes get older.
