Awesome car the E60 M5 but I have never driven anything as brutal in its power delivery in the harder settings, it just wants to rip you and itself to pieces so not surprising many of them are damaged. A decent Mondial warranty reduces the pain but a mate of mine has one that is in the dealership more months of the year than it is on the road.
