Hi All,

I've been living with my new baby (2016 Granturismo Sport) for nearly 3 weeks now. I absolutely love it. LOVE IT!!

The engine is exquisite. You get just past 3k revs and you think it sounds good. But it keeps going. 4k, 5k, 6k and then some. And the burbling and gurgling on the overrun...

And the looks...they good good in photos, but in the flesh??!! I'm particularly pleased with the example I was lucky enough to acquire - yellow brake callipers and stitching, blacked out window and lighting trim and stunning matte black Stradale wheels. So stealth :)

Big thanks to Conaero, c4sman, CatmanV2, Cyclone1, Gazcw, Sam, Felonius, Zep & others for their advice, POV and laughs through my buying process.

And HUGE thanks to Mr. Richard Grace from whom I acquired the car. He got the car undersealed for me, was 'on it' throughout the whole process, impeccable with the details and was a true gent throughout.

Right, night drive time.

Looks awesome another reminder for me to stay away from that Dicky bloke, all his cars are just stunning and I know I wouldn't be able to walk away empty handed. Fortunately he doesn't have many classics that are over 30 years old that make it viable to bring in to Ireland

That looks stunning Will. Belated welcome to the form. You're exactly right with the engine, with a standard exhaust 2.5-3.5k is great through deserted French vilages sounds sweee-eeet!

They are only deserted because they heard Matt coming from Caen!

Surely you mean off the 60-0?

Anyway, you're sadly mistaken. Red calipers are lighter, sexier and stoppier.
What this serious debate about callipers misses, of course, is that all designs are compromises. So no surprise then that some colours are too sharply stoppy, others lead to spikiness in the acceleration curves. The perfect balance leading to superior driveability at all times is achieved only with silver :)
Self evident, I think.
And the car looks good with matching wheels.

A new faction in caliper wars? :p
