+1 same for me. Has to be mesh or vertical grille as never been a fan of the horizontal one. Seems to date the car more to me.

And yet modern ranges from Passats to Rapides have horizontal. The angle of my QP photo exaggerates the depth of the grille somewhat; it's still a nice place to be though.

I'm very tempted by Robert's QP, but if I'm going that way I think I'd prefer to get a full fat GT S.

Indeed it is a lovely place to be. I think I'm half thinking the same that to go to circa 25k the GTS would be the way to go. I can understand why the S is there though and will have an audience.

Still no idea why they didn't put the MC Shift in the GTS. Would have suited it to a tee.

Just got the two new school fees invoices in to pay for next term immediately after Xmas.

That is my motivation to think too much about buying any car I would like before just going for it. Not sure changing the filling on my lunchtime sandwich will help much with that one!

I pay on DD, strangely makes it feel like less!

As for Robert's QP, great colour and we know it is well looked after, now considerably cheaper than was being asked for it over the summer. Surely has to be a lock away for someone on here?

I've not seen Robert's QP in the flesh but the colour combination is very similar to mine. His car has lower mileage, a 4.7, and Dickie's endorsement so it's a peach for someone.

Well I’ve had a decent offer on the QP, which I am considering overnight, but am inclined to accept. So it may be off to a new keeper very soon

Fantastic car and great buy. I think the colour and condition is terrific. Quality sells.

Personally, I think the whole downward plunge perception on big engined cars is overstated. This is a very good value car to my eyes - what's not to like?

Congrats on being under offer so quickly. I hope it's a good one and they cherish the car like you have.

Good cars always sell. A canny buyer realises that the premium for the best is worth it in the end. Never buy a low volume Italian car based solely on price.

Bucking the trend for selling a QP.....but then it was the best and as above good examples will sell. Well done Robert. Stunning car.
