You must be pretty close to Giallo. Is it not worth seeing if they will pick it up and doing an inspection on it then give you a quote to fix? Might give you a better return as I suspect than a dead QP that hasn't run since November with no MOT as isn't going to be worth much to anyone really like this so they will likely offer buttons.

Maybe worth asking Giallo if they want to buy it and see how much they would offer you no?

Ineed, makes sense - a new owner would want to know what they're up against before buying too so this would be a wise move

If the car would start, it would sail through the Mot. I bought the car from Giallo and they wanted over 5k to do the clutch - not worth spending that much. I haven't got the tools to fit a new as there are some good tutorials out there. Pirelli P Zeros are like new and the diagnosis keeps throwing up the clutch gubbins

Get a price from the likes of Sportsitalia for a clutch, I think it’s closer to £3.5k (but could be wrong).
Shipping the car to them will add £200 or so but you will get your investment back for sure if you are selling an up and running car with MOTz

You need to fix it, these cars are a hard sell mot'd and running, it's a breaker as it is with 4k for a clutch bill and no mot , what's the subframe like

Mot'd with a new clutch this time of year and you'll stand a much better chance , whether the value will be much over letting it go as is is a gamble, especially if the mot throws something else up

Totally Agree.

I’d buy it as is but I wouldn’t offer anything more than £2k for all the reasons laid out above.
I’d get it to a specialist; who knows they may have someone looking for that exact spec.

I may know someone interested in this, it sounds like an exciting project
Do you have any service history, any more photos and information as to what has happened with the clutch diagnostic / why it won't start?
