Admit it, feels faster now, right?

Great modifications, nothing like that tweaked feeling. Congratulations!

What a great job on the car. I hope you'll enjoy it for a long time.
Just a question - do you know which product they used for underbody and subframe protection?

Just a question - do you know which product they used for underbody and subframe protection?

They used:
1 can Jenolite Rust Converter
4 cans Tetroseal Waxoil
7! cans Tetroseal stonechip

They had the exhaust off and all the heat shields etc and furthermore injected Waxoil into all cavities. It’s a proper job and should be good to go for many years to come.

That's how cars should come from the Factory.
I remember having Audi VW cars back in the 80'S and 90'S that would haemorrhage wax on hot Summer days.
It was everything else we were welding up for MOT or scrapping then.

Just looked in depth at the AV invoice. They actually also replaced the gearbox mounts as well as the engine mounts when they had the exhaust off and the entire underside stripped plus quite a few other clips and bits and pieces. They also touched up tiny paint chips, adjusted front grilles to sit correctly and refitted the boot chrome trim that was loose. It’s pleasing to know the car has been looked at with a fine tooth comb and absolutely everything has now been inspected and replaced if necessary. The remote control valve opening kit is brilliant and came in very handy going through the Dartford tunnel on the way home :alan4:

Next on my list is fitting the H&R wheel spacers sitting in my garage and then possibly looking into lowering it slightly to fill out those arches properly.
As soon as the SM brake discs become a reality I will replace all four, fit EBC yellow stuff pads and the braided hoses also sitting ready in my garage.

Out of curiousity, does your invoice state which type of power steering fluid and coolant they used?
