Hi everyone - delighted to be in ownership of a stunning 2007 Maserati Granturismo. Black on Black .. previous owner plasti dipped the wheels in a kind of bronze colour. Will see whether they grow on me as I preferred them initially in black which is what they are underneath. Very spontaneous purchase but one I couldn`t resist! It is such a stunning car to look at... :love4:

Currently based in Birmingham, UK but quite often in and around London as well.

Hoping to have some great discussions. Previously had a 4200 GT about 10 years ago so has been a while! Am already thinking about re-trimming the interior with some alcantara but will relish the sound of that exhaust note!

Welcome back to the Maserati fold. I am sure i saw the car advertised somewhere with the comment about the wheels being plasti dipped in a bronze colour. You can peel it off of it does not grow on you.

Welcome back and enjoy.

Welcome, interested to hear if you go for some alcantara re-trimming as I've been considering it too but not sure which bits to do given how much peeling I have!

Likewise… have a tiny bit of peeling but the look of alcantara is making me drool lol

I’ve seen a few videos on the best way to get rid of plasti dip if I do decide to take them off. Will try rubbing alcohol and then peel or goo gone is another one I’ve seen used and then blasted with the pressure washer. But ideally need the wheels off for that option..

A big warm welcome back.
Well done scratching that Maserati itch twice !
They are just lovely aren't they. And, in point of fact, the colour is neither here nor there because its the way they drive that does it.
Though they do look wonderful parked where you can see them.
