Found by 30 year old Momo anotomic gear knob I had fitted on my '91 Alfa Romeo 33S Permanent 4! So decided to fit it to my M140i.
Polished up the lower collar from the original black anodised finish, and bought a new leather gaitor from J F Customs on ebay. This came with the plastic retaining frame, excellent quality (real smellie leather) and only 20 quid.
Necessary as the original BMW knob is attached to the original gaitor.
Well chuffed.
I very much dout if you bought a new gear knob today, you would be fitting the same knob to a car in 2051!

Will whip out the knob I saved from my former Ford probe later (its in the loft somewhere) and share.... ;)

Nothing like getting an old knob back in use I swapped the new young stylish version in the Giulietta for my original one that had been left alone in the shed for a few years.
