Yebbut the forst 20 miles or so are just *EPIC*

Someone pointed out to me today that I could, actually, get a company car....

C
I talked about that with accountant, but as I am a one-man Ltd company, it's not beneficial, even an electric one, which having driven one a lot, I don't fancy.

More up your street Darren than Chris's.

You don't know how much , but about 15 years ago the garage that worked on my van had one in , it looked Ok but the owner who was a friend of the garage owner had gone to a casino in Liverpool , parked on a disused petrol station forecourt

Came out at 2am jumped in and hit the gas , 3 tonnes of Bentley straight into one of the elevated pump islands

He said I don't want to claim just fix it, looked OK from the bumper up but it was a mess underneath , he'd taken the sump off and all the pipework, wiring and bent the subframe

When the parts bill got to £10,000 they stopped counting , it was probably a 30k car back then but it was touch and go whether they were going to write it off

That's when I had my eyes opened to the real cost of running a Bentley

That's a dilemma, I suppose the question is would the company provide a car you'd want to spend long periods of time in.
I'd sooner drive a new Peugeot 508 than an old Mercedes

Have to say seeing plenty in the flesh here in France that Peugeot certainly have upped their game.

It certainly could be an easy fix which can be the fun of a project car and I have done a few over the years but could also break you.

Could well be simply a coil pack!
bought this car as a weekend project but do not have the time and has sat around for 5 months

I'm out of touch on QP prices but if it's just a coil pack why not fix it and add value
Where its parked looks like the place cars go to die , if its been on that grass for 5 months the underside will be rusty
