Come one boys....live a little....take chance. What's the worst that could happen?!

If I ever retire I'd buy one. Then buy a really really cheap rubbish one for spares. Would keep me busy in retirement for sure

I've got a list somewhere. I was going to message it to you, but there was some error about 'maximum file size' or some such... ;)

LOL...I'm sure there is a long list.

At least there is a chance of finding one a rich toff has had from new and spent the GDP of a small country on over the years to keep it perfect.

Dan had one on here before he bought the GT S and the Gallardo. Funny how all those are gone but he still has the mark 1 Elise. The perfect fun car.

When you say he has it......
It's actually been in a garage (not his) for most of his ownership.

2,200 miles done on my UK trip in the 3.0Diesel XF can't seem to beat the 45 mpg but I'm happy with that.
Ran faultless one of the Best cars I have had for sure :)

Another Great run in my XF tonight Derby to WsM and 45 mpg again love my dirty diesel Jaguar.

A guy I know has the 3.0 diesel , he's always had fast cars but when he hit 70 he went for economy , its 10 years old now but only done 46,000 miles , he noticed a drip on his drive , the garage sent him a pictureScreenshot_20190222-073218_Facebook.jpgboth turbo's are shot , they've quoted him £4500 to fix it , one thing he's not short of is money so he's getting it fixed but given the mileage he does and this bill he'd have saved money if he'd bought the 5.0 supercharged

Something bust with black goo dripping out of it , it's what happens when an old man drives a 3.0 diesel about at 30mph squealing like a teenage girl when he sees 50mpg on the trip computer

Done 400 miles today from Laval to Bruges and got 47 MPG my best yet but I gave her oil and filters a change last week so I know she has the correct oil in her now.

I've obviously got a heavier right foot than you Phil. My 9 day 2,189 mile jaunt around the country I got 35 mpg. Although I do tend to put my foot down quite a bit.
