There is a car prog on quest called 'Motor Pickers' where Paul Cowland, and the rather attractive Helen Stanley try to match customers with the car they are looking for. Last night the chap wanted a GT, and the choice they gave him were a Bentley continental GT, Maser Granturismo, Mercedes C43 AMG, and a Nissan Skyline GTR, he loved the Maser and bought it, well worth a watch , should be available on catchup.

Off screen narration from Cowland, cited a report from warranty providers that the GTs are 'some of the worst' for reliability issues (or words to that effect) , going on to say the average bill per claim was @£1K....!
And yes, it was a bit red IMO....:p

Thursday night is a bit heavy on the motoring front with, "On the Road" ( Nedell has been sacked by 5th Gear) Worlds Greatest Cars ( Brewer and Co indulging themselves), and Motor Pickers all screening in the same hour or so it seems....

It would be good if you could mention the channels. I only have on line and searching through 30 catchup channels is a pain. Please.

As a car guy I like most car shows but I have to admit my motivation for watching this show was Helen Stanley - I find her very easy on the eye especially out of the baggy overalls she wears in that other show - and she loves cars - whats not to like

She'd be even better if she hadn't covered most of her torso in hideous tattoos, at least they are covered up in this series.

I'm not sure I can do any more of Tiff and Paul in On The Road. I will watch most stuff with any cars. I can see why they didn't want Tiff anymore. Who is this annoying Paul guy?

I can even tolerate the three amigo's still but these two are dull. Boring format of testing with a drag race then a lap. This week was a GL63s and Stelvio QF. Who cares about an SUV drag race or an SUV on a track. Almost as pointless as an SUV test off road.

Caught a bit of an electric resto mod show that seemed decent. Seen that Moggie guy before and Pedro from Petrol Ped on YT is OK too. Much more interesting show but not sure what it is called.

Haven’t seen the show but I’ve always found TN irritating.

I agree with Rockits. Tiff is a sublime presenter compared to the other one who is a total kn0b IMO. I agreed with their choices of the Stelvio QF and Mini Cooper S as winners in both of the tests tho....

Lovecars is OK because they do have some great metal on there....Tiff is rather annoying with his pronounced commentary. Never really warmed to him in 5th Gear. They just need to test cars though instead of bring into elements of the other shows.

Dean, Paul started Lovecars...He has loads of videos in You Tube.....He lives Bristol way I believe and I know this because they have done a lot with Aston Martin Bristol. On the Road is all part of his Lovecars stuff......

Thanks for the heads up, just watched.
Annoying when they’re reeling off facts which are incorrect. Surely it was more than £87k new, no mention of the cost of the MC Sportline, CF interior and exterior packs which would bring it nigh on £100k. Then as a used buy at those miles, clearly clutch wear is key. And if the interior resembles an abattoir there’s zero chance of selling it for £33k.

Re the warranty claims, probably about right, but no less than the Bentley, GTR or Merc. They’re reliable cars, I’ve had just 6 warranty claims (all minor) from the last 50 we’ve sold.
