Hi all
Put my QPV in for test yesterday and front disc change out at a local indie
Discs and pads were changed (these were bought in November from a sale in Europarts for about 1/2 Maserati prices)
£200 + cost of discs and pads

They did not check the EPB properly (their admission) and so a failure because it was only working on the driver side rear
I hardly ever use EPB so I missed it too.
They found a stretched cable on the passenger side, did a break clean and fluid change out
£70
They advised using the EPB when you knew you were going to be driving it regularly, but if laid up for say a week then do not use it

and retested ok

No advisory notices

Needs to go back in next week to get the latest software upgrade from Maserati for engine and gearbox

I thought they did a good job, were totally honest with me and so they will keep my business
Came away happy, oh plus VAT

Next up is insurance trawl through websites, then warrany

Never been offered this and I had my car MOT's a couple of weeks ago at Emblem

I will ask
However mine is a 2007 jobby and it may/may not have had software upgrades in the past

Good news Dave, you must be very pleased and the garage sounds like a good find. It will be interesting to hear if you notice any difference from the software upgrade.

Well, job done.
Insured as of March,

Decided not to renew warranty at £1667 from W Direct and build a war chest

MOT was done last week but I mentioned software upgrades.
Well today I collected the QP following the upgrades.
I have no reason to doubt the firm (he has since become a friend!) and he tells me that Maserati released a software upgrade about November of last year which included a full diagnostic health check (no probs) a balance algorithm for the EPB module and motors (no pros) and general software updates

I noticed yesterday that some kind person had scuffed the rear passenger wheel arch and door, so that was buffed out too and is as good as new

All of this was 'free' because it should have been done at the MOT originally

So I am a happy bunny.
I have not had chance to test any difference (if any) in performance following the upgrades - that is a pleasure for the weekend

We plan a wheel dressing session in spring time after the worse of the weather and apparently (need to check) a basic service is due around October oil change etc

So god is back in his heaven!

Skippers Lane Industrial Estate,
Used them for my Mot, exhaust fit and new tyres,
I found them thoroughly professional, they said you get a free valet as part of the service, I told them not to clean mine until I had spoke to the guy doing it, once he explained his method and materials I decided he was better than me,
Job done and surprisingly not too expensive,,

No dedicated website other than on Facebook
If you scroll down the pictures there are plenty of exotica to view and Dave W 4200(?) is on there when he had his exhausts done.
Don't think my QP is on but I will check
