I learned a few things today (lots of people use the word learnt?)
I digress
Took my 2007 QP for its MOT today at Falcon Performance Engineering in Middlesbrough
I learned they are a reputable garage with good equipment, knowledgeable people, friendly and courteous
I learned that my car passed the test 1st time with no advisories. A small question over emissions. It was just in and was put down to a cold morning, short run, still on partial choke.
They also gave it a thorough check over for free (hoping to get a service from me in the future no doubt) and reported that it was in great condition all round.
Also a free valet (they do this valet for every car)
The knock on effect of this good day, is that I have decided to keep the QP, and get it serviced (later)
So next week is the insurance saga (steps already taken) and probably into March for the warranty - just to spread the cost over a couple of months.
Falcon are on Facebook -whatever that is and show a good array of cars, if anyone is interested.
JCT 600 are in Leeds and are also pretty good - but expensive Falcon are about 2/3rds the price
