Just had the MOT after the car has been laid up for a while.
Fixed the known niggles with the car prior to the test but need to fix the following from the test sheet and I am looking for some advice.
Up until leaving the car for the test the central door locking worked fine, all of a sudden it now disarms the alarm unlocks the driver door but then immediately locks the passenger door?
I have a fluid leak apparently from the gearbox area, prior to test I tightened all of the F1 lines, is there a weak washer that perishes in this area, leak is on driver side of the box?
Handbrake lever travel is to far and is approx at a 65 degree angle. Is this likely to be stretched cables so they need replacing or is there an adjuster I can fiddle with the get more life out of them?
Brake discs front and back, I don't think there bad but apparently don't meet the standard of the tester. Where is the best place to buy them and any recommendation on brake pads would be appreciated!
