Good progress, had a similar problem with the bumper on my sons VW, looked perfect, small nudge in a car park and half of it fell on the floor!
Will be worth it in the end especially with the carbon .

SportsItalia don't remove the wheel but you do need round-ended Allen keys and it is fiddly.
Yeah you can see the screws just and I did think about it, but I would imagine the fiddling about takes longer than pulling the wheel and just dropping them on. Toying with the idea of getting a set of yours and having them hydrodipped in silver carbon to match my other trims now.

Haven’t had my ‘Stindig paddle’ upgrade fitted yet. Mind you, not driven the car for at least 6 weeks either..

Just to flag that I have some very nice CNC black-anodised aluminium flappy paddles for sale at £125.00 in postage.

They would be based on the ones in my car as per the photo. Unless someone wants to send me something different to model it from

Assuming these are a 1:1 carbon copy of Stindig's carbon paddles these may be of interests to 4200/GS bods.
The fixing positions align perfectly with only a minor modification needed to the lower column shroud.
The length of the paddles mean they sit directly behind the wheel - so not visible as per current paddles.
The paddles operate without contact with either wheel or wiper/indicator stalks.

They were reversed engineered from my original carbon paddles so are 100% identical in size and shape
