I've a feeling that my current Sp4'srears need replacing
Are PS4S's still the bizz? Searches seem that there aren't many around for the Mas.
I think rubber has increased in price in a similar manner to electronic chips.
ANy idea of a ballpark fitted?

PS4S? They were difficult to find as there was talk of a replacement.

Just ordered a set of PS4S for my XJL SS. Definitely the way forward IMHO. Rather than the PZero way.......of backwards.......into a hedge!

Great tyre, but hard to come by in certain sizes. Haven’t tried for the GT, but impossible to get the front set for my M3. Been looking for almost 12 months. Always out of stock and coming soon…..

What's the difference in noise. Michelin always quiet

Tad louder - as you said the Michelin's are quieter than other brands.

On paper the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports are louder than the PS4S as well.

Ultimately it's down to which tyre is available for you at the time Michelin and Good Years are not available for the 18's on the 4200.

I’ve just put 4 Michelin PS4S on my Ghibli due to 2 damaged tyres, one front and one rear. 2 rears where £520 and the fronts £450. Formula one auto centre gave the best prices this time around. That’s for 20 inch wheels.

Try blackcirces.com

Last time I selected the mobile fitters and it was a lot more pleasant than having to go to a fast fit place

my QPon PS4S and would fir same next time. Maybe try 10mm wider to increase availability ? Running 285/35/20 rears on mine which behave just grand with minor bonus of increased kerb protection. I am aware of the "your insurer might not pay out" blah blah blah. The insurer will just write of any early QPV that finds a ditch and would be astounded if anyone noticed the tyre sizes. Or that not actually had four matching, top branded recent dated rubber boots.
