Memory Seat Repair & Seat Base Removal

If you succeed Navcorr let us know!
Have drawn a blank adding memory to the passenger side seat. There is no connector to add another switch. On the driver's side the switch connects directly to the memory module. As you'd expect but unlike Oneball's 3200 where each seat has its own module - a 4200 only has one. With each seat being one half of an overall system - with different loom connectors each side. Which is the problem - simply adding another memory module, to provide the switch connector, would require a number of modifications to the loom. Plus risk the system overall couldn't handle or manage two modules. Same problem simply adding a LHD drivers seat - loom requirements preclude experimentation.

In short, decided it not worth further effort and potentially buggering things up. Thanks again to Oneball for the photos though.

Edit: if someone else knows any different please say. Another point from previous posts re: changing LHD seats to RHD seats - there's more to it than just changing seat bases. The loom requirements mean the swap involves a complete strip down - almost everything. As I've changed the seat colour though 80% of this would have been done anyway. For a change there's no bits left over either

How easy it to add 1. heated seats and 2. the comfort pack ie massaging and cooling? U can can get the bits on Europspares for like loads on dosh so not that route but maybe a donor car as QP's (in my case) become bangers.
