Ok guys I went to Northern Ireland this weekend and fell under the spell of that V8. That sound!

I got a good 4500 off the stated price and the chap was a joy to deal with and the car is fab.

The ride back to the south east was epic and took the whole of Sunday. Managed to buy the car on the Saturday and take a look around Belfast. Sometimes it pays to go further afield and if feasible make a weekend trip of it…saw the Titanic and Stormont over the weekend. Plus Alex Higgins pub and Van Morrison birth house.

The car itself is in very good shape. Will probably get the front end (stone chips) and boot (inside lid rust spreading) fixed. Only other concern could be the front chassis, but will get it checked out. All things that were known prior to travel.

A check is def worth it if you are travelling for miles and making a weekend trip. Nothing worse than doing 500 miles to visit a lemon.

Yes bought in NI 7 years ago now. Nothing wrong that vast quantities of cash couldn't fix!

Yet to give the car a proper shakedown after it's latest complete refresh. Triggers broom springs to mind!
