MCV at Goodwood

Had a great day at Goodwood yesterday. Me and a friend managed nearly 60 laps which was a full tank of petrol. Track was almost empty as it was a private day arranged by a car dealer. Its a great circuit - very fast but some tricky parts. The car held up brilliantly, little or no brake fade or roll.

Here are some pics I took. If anyone is interested I took video of some laps (including me getting bollocked by instructer for being a raggy driver and messign about with gears too much).

Nice day for it.
I did my first track day there some eight years ago...so much better than the other tracks I have used and the facilities are super.

Can't recall but he was abut 60 with a grey beard. I'll post the video later and you will hear his voice

With commentary on my bad track driving from a Goodwood instructor. Felt like I was back at school! By the end I couldn't take in anything and my head was fried. Only been on a track a few times before and the last tiem was 10 years ago.

Pleasure to watch; bit sketchy when the aeroplane looms in you windscreen and drops overhead for the runway!

A quick learner though. I think I need an instructor, I am way later on the brakes and not off them into the corner, I need a rethink on that

Haha. I was on my best driving behavior with him. I was faster on my own but he wouldn't have approved of my style.
