I keep seeing a 570S or a GT (I don't know what the difference is) near me, and it obviously shifts as it absolutely obliterated me coming down the slip road onto the M20 yesterday! Not that the Jag is even remotely in the same league! :mock8:

It even sounded good! So I assume an aftermarket exhaust was fitted.

Anyone know what they are like? I seem to be lusting after one more than a Ferrari 458 probably due to the fact that the tech is newer.
Has the build quality improved on them from earlier Maccas, and are they as unreliable as some people say (Maccas in general)?

Asking just incase my lottery numbers come in.

The GT is the less desirable one with a sort of tailgate thing and softer dampers.

The sports exhaust does sound ok but they can sound really quite good with more work.

Buy a late built (NOT the same as a late reg!) one for the best quality.

Get a spider so you can hear the exhaust.

Buy a warranty from Thorney motorsport.

Buy one with miles on it. They're worse for not being used than even Masers are.

Sit in one. They're an exceptional place to be.

is the GT really less desirable. For me the hatch looks much better then the buttresses on the S…..Most reviews seem to prefer the looks also. Plus you can get a GT with the sports pack that basically turns it into the same car as the S and you get the better looks…

Love them Mark. My son is driving one around Dunsfold in 2 weeks….

They look great and go like **** and are good value now compared to the competition…I personally prefer the looks to the 458 and I also love the simple interior over the Lambo and Ferraris.88279

Saw this one yesterday ….

spoke to chap at Silverstone on Sunday evening (nothing better to do when it takes 5 hours to get out of a field). He had owned a 570 spider, which he replaced with a Huracan evo. He said it felt a bit light at the front, less planted than the Lambo, build quality not great and had a £14k warranty claim for corrosion repairs before it went back! 458 for me every time!

I'd have a spider, so the GT fails for me on that count. No point in having a carbon tub if you still stick a roof on it. :)

That's a longtail of some number or other. You can tell by the top-mounted exhausts. They're very short, sound great and make flames.

it certainly is. Sounded good as well. I see two now and again on my trip to Gloucester this white one and a black one. But of a weapon the LT….

I’ve always wondered with these vertical exhausts if there’s some sort of water trap or drain?
