Yep - those figures are typical of a car around the £190k mark. (Those actual figures were from Ferrari for a Roma.) This assumes a trade-in value at the end of the term of circa £120k. So, the above figures should be good enough to use as an approximate guide.

With options to bring up the OTR price to £218k, I was told £47.5k deposit, 4 years @ £2k / month followed by a final payment of £109k if you want to keep it. Alternatively the same deposit followed by 4 years at £4k / month on HP an then the car is yours - a decent monthly income for the next four years will be needed for one of these ...

Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh & driving one nonetheless though

True enough. And that's after all the other out-goings. School fees alone take up £7k per month of my post-tax earnings!
Very kind of you to put your kids through such fine education. I presume you have one child.

My fine wine, hookers and drugs take up £7.5k per month of my post-tax earnings. That however pales in comparison to my monthly yacht mooring costs.

As usual Supercar Blondie has managed to get hold of one to film. Can't stand the presentation but it's the most close up filming I've seen as well as a start up which sounds better than expected.

Here’s a win win idea.
I’ll educate your kids for 4K a month and will expose them to views they never knew existed.
Invaluable life knowledge- that frankly you can’t put a price on.

You pocket the savings and buy the MC20.

I can start Monday, Deal?

God, she is awful. Utterly fake and dumbed down presentation. Need to watch with no volume to avoid her voice and because her commentary adds nothing in the way of real content.

I do really want an MC20 but can’t risk taking a bath with it.

With a hybrid then full leccy coming surely they can’t retain value?

I suspect at £100k used they may be more palatable.

You'll be in a 720 first, Matt. :)

I can’t see them being £100k for a long, long time, unless they’re a a bit ****.

As the last NA engined Maserati sports car, they just might hold their value quite well. Especially if the take-up is modest, so overall numbers are low. Which is quite likely, as at £200k, many will still prefer the more obvious choice of Ferrari, Maclaren or Lambo.

I suspect that the similarly priced Roma will sell in far greater numbers, and depreciate more over the next 5 years.

Is it not a turbo rather than a NA?

Regardless, it is not going to be mass produced so the values should hold up reasonably well but the first few years will still be painful in terms of depreciation

When they first announced the MC20 I was a bit "meh".

Now the more I've seen it the more it has grown on me.

I"d like mine in yellow or blue. With an after market exhaust. Still sounds too quiet.

But would I have one over a Roma? Probably not.
