Given the car has been released why are testers getting one in Camo?

It's not a production version (I don't believe that's actually started yet) - this is a drive of the pre-production prototype. Similar happened with the BMW 1-Series M – allows the manufacturer to let outside people give a little bit of extra feedback before the final 'productionising' begins. For example, the 1M's exhaust note was tuned further after the pre-production drives.

surprised the US spec doesn't have the GPF with all the rules they have in CA for example. It certainly seems to make a big difference to noise with turbo cars. Check out the latest Audi S3 Carwow video, good example

I see daily posts from exhaust shops emptying these filters on amg, rs, m, gti etc. Might be a bit more complex on a mc20, but cant Imagine it being impossible.

Or just get an ipe or similar shop to do an exhaust. Whats another 5k for a proper sound ‍♂️

Exhausts are easily sorted, who cares what it sounds like out of the box, or if theirs is louder than ours? What I would like to see is some blue weave carbon bits, it's almost become a mark of their exclusive cars.

Yeah I think it looks fantastic. The only features where perhaps it is "trying too hard" are the high carbon door sills. Otherwise, beautiful. The engine is your typical high-performance twin turbo, so will obviously sound v different from a n.a. V8, but there are plenty of modern cars with the turbo V6 configuration so this shouldn't harm the car's prospects.

I'm liking the MC20 a lot, more and more as I see it on different videos etc. I also like the Ferrari Roma. I can see one of these in my future.
