You compared it to a 430, but I was merely pointing out its rarity.
I just compared it to a stock 430 price at 65k+ suggesting an MCV is comparatively good value. In essence if someone was looking for a 65k+ 430 then maybe an MCV could be a better or alterntive option.

It's amazing how many limited edition cars there are!

Looks great. Whilst I would not myself, I can see why people buy these things as lock aways but don't know the market price wise so this is a useless post really......

Some are bought to lock away but surely with these miles, this one is perfect to use sparingly.

What’s not to like for your good lady wife? Are you prevented from a purchase in addition to, or px’ing your GTS? I do have a large proportion of customers who forbid me from mentioning any figures when they bring their wife to pick up the car. Customers regularly shred their purchase invoice so it’s away from prying eyes.

been there, done that, trust me they always find out eventually and then you're in for the high jump, best one for me was the ford rs200, tried to arrange delivery for when the wife wasn't home, but she was just my fecking luck, she noticed the car cruise past the side door on the back of the low loader and I just said it was just an old ford I picked up cheap, month later she noticed bank balance and I ran for the hills

I don't bother hiding the truth from people, missus or customers. It all outs in the end.

Told the missus and kids I might buy another TVR and they already think I'm nuts already anyway. I guess the difference is I've never spent more than 24k on a single car purchase in my life ever.

I don’t either but if she stopped me making my own decisions I’d find a new one.

I still remember the evening a little over 8 years ago when as Jeanette passed the study door I said "I'm thinking of buying a Ferrari dear?" and she replied simply "Yes dear if you want...." If she could recall those few words now I'm sure she would do! And well I got the engine at least, came wrapped in a 4200!

Joint account? oh dear lol ;)

i'm not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to trying to hide things from her indoors, I've done better with others but there's always a paper trail that she eventually comes across, every now and then she'll surprise me in the garage whilst I'm tinkering and she'll say "oh my god is that another car you've bought" and as per usual I get sent to coventry

Still don’t get the dislike of blue, and all the interested parties were pleased when they heard it had the blue interior. In my opinion, as an MCV nerd, this car is the perfect spec. Regards prices, I very nearly listed it at £64950 to attain upwards of £60k but instead listed it at £59950 with no wriggle room. They haven’t doubled in value, they were always late £30k’s-£40k and that was in 2011, so they’ve gone up by 50% in 7 years. Also 1/12 is worst case, 3 went overseas so 12 is the most there could be.

I thought you said my car was the perfect spec :D
