I use mine as a DD. The way I look at it is if I get 2/3 years out of it it’ll become a parts car for the next QP5. Why not enjoy it while you can!
Mine is a DD as well, around 10k miles pa. I think this is quite common with QPVs (and modern Ghiblis, of course) but not so much with the coupes.

But I'm hoping to get more than 2/3 years out of it (!), given that I am gradually replacing the entire car with new bits - or so it seems.

But we should probably carry on this conversation over here: http://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/qp-as-a-daily-drive.25870/

I’ve just sold our first one, massively impressed by how well it drives. The gentleman who bought it px’d A RR Sport 2016. Got in that straight after and the handling and ride are a mile behind the Levante. Interior is nowhere near as nice either. If you drive one Andy I think you’ll be suitably impressed.

I believe they are a great drive Dicky that's not in doubt I just don't like how they look and you have like the looks no matter how they drive. Good that Maserati have a winner in the Levante though.

Two today, a green 4200 cabrio turning into Redbeck Shell garage on Doncaster Road, Wakefield, and not 15 mins ago a dark blue GT reg LV-something, grey haired driver, I waved nothing back but to be fair was a diversion through Rothwell due to a fire on Oulton I think, road blocked. Concave grille I’m sure. Should add I only have eyes for 4 doors (and Ferrari 400 series) so my 2 door spotting skills are lacking...

I’ve given up headlight flashing as last two times I’ve accidently paddled-down and shît myself...

There was a Blu Emozione Ghibli as well but the driver seemed a little too important to want to talk.

Another different Ghibli the same colour has just parked up near us at Tibshelf services.

- You're not the only one - but I was bumbling through Evesham traffic so it wasn't that exciting! And as I rarely see any Maseraties, let alone when I am in mine, it doesn't matter.

Just seen a Blu Sofisticato MY18 GT Sport in Stanley Green, Cheshire. Looked stunning in the sun

And 15 mins earlier I had seen a pre facelift GTS in the same colour on the A34.

Black GT parked in Dean Street, Soho on Saturday night - a bit brave!
Also brownish Ghibli just off Regent Street, London on Sunday.

Lovely white Strad on the A120 and then the A133 today, somewhere in the vicinity of Colchester. Sounded nice enough, but needed an x-pipe and / or to not be in slumber mode. I liked that the driver enjoyed jumping round the gears a bit, but less valve and more boot would have made my experience of the car better (please, if you're on here. Just for future reference).

Had mine a month now and I must say it is exceptionally good, it’s a petrol and bloody **** does it go, I agree with Dicky the interior is miles better than a RR sport

It'll be an interesting experience. Dick Lovett have allocated me a brand new Levante as courtesy car for a couple of days next week while the GT has her annual breath over.

Interesting because I've seen several and find it probably so far removed from my aesthetics as the GT is so close. Moreover i abhor Mummy barges and detest turbo charged diesels even more.

So I'll be hopefully embarrassingly impressed?

Hope so

A week in Italy and didn’t see any Maserati’s until we arrived in Pisa, then saw 4 in the space of 10 miles. All black, 2 facelift Ghiblis, 1 Levante and a new QP barge. I did wonder if the local dealer was closed early and it was the sales team taking home the loaners....
