Spotted a chaved up QPV in a breaker's yard next to the railway al Landor Street in Brum yesterday, grigio paint with black window tints all round (illegal surely), no badges, black wheels, black side vents and lowered a bit!

Neighbours got very confused when they spotted a perfect copy of Roary (with roof down as I also do) in Pershore just after they'd seen/heard me pull up - except that pale blue Spyder was on an 04 plate!

I couldn't get a picture because I was driving, but saw for the first time an MC20. It was around 11.30 AM on Wednesday 1st June on the M1 heading north from London, maybe around the Edgware entrance. It was in Blue last part of reg ended in 'MZZ' and looked to be brand new with the owner sticking carefully to the speed limit!
As I understand it they start at around £190k, and if you look at the pricing of the new Grecale it's clear that Maserati is shifting its range pricing upwards. For me their EV replacement for the QP and it would appear the Ghibli is going to be similarly a lot more expensive, I'm guessing you would be lucky if it started below £100k to take on the likes of the Tesla Model S, and simply out of my price range. I would have kept my Ghibli Diesel for a few more years, and looked at their new four door, or indeed the new EV Jaguars which are supposed to be launched from '25, but like Maserati they too are seemingly going from 'premium' to competing with Bentley etc. So as a committed 4 door saloon buyer, and being no fan of SUV's, I'm having to seek pastures new! One thing I've yet to succumb too though is the boring German alternatives!

Why not just get a new V6 petrol Ghibli now whilst you can?

Good point, unfortunately what I didn't mention is that one of the reasons for the change is the continual anti ICE messaging, almost making you feel like you're driving something out of date and obsolete, particularly in London where if they can charge you they will. That said even EV's will be subject to Congestion Charge from 2025!
The truth is, and I've said this before on this site, in a lot of parts of the UK and I believe in Europe, national and local authorities are becoming increasingly anti car ownership, and once they've finished with the ICE , the EV will be next on their list. These scum already cite particles from tyres and brake dust as pollutants! I maybe off tangent, but I still firmly believe this is far more of a Socialist or perhaps Communist agenda that runs through the environmental groups.
And whilst I'm being very Unpolitacaly correct, I had this misfortune of seeing Rachel Shabi on Sky News press review yesterday evening. Of course free speech and diversity is important, but to use 'my right to free speech', the republican anti Royal garbage she was spouting last night with simply ludicrous! I'm no flag waving stand in The Mall to see the Queen person, but obviously she and a lot of her immediate family do a great job, bringing in huge revenue, and giving us a Head of State that is envied by many round the world, and yes in time I would include Prince Charles in that!
Let's face it, how many tourists are going to visit the UK without the Royal Family, they are hardly going to come here for the great weather!!!!
