Hi All
I'm thinking of purchasing a Maserati Spyder 4.2 V8 Cambiocorsa .. Its quite low mileage .. What are the pit falls and what should I be looking for ?

Thanks

Checks should be the same as for the coupe, clutch wear, front and rear suspension ball joints and bushes, cam cover leaks, and the air conditioning system. Also check the hood works correctly and had no damage.if it has been looked after it should have a comprehensive service history.! would also recommend an independent inspection.

Rust under rear lights
Frayed hood
Sticky or worn out switch gear
Poor history, esp on older low miles convertibles.

Remember a correct SH is every year regardless or every 12k whichever is sooner... hence why most low miles cars do not have a FSH.

Hoping that's the shadow from the Mezzanine above... first Gen car, be prepared for some scuttle shake... not that the later cars were much better.
