Had a bit of a nightmare getting on the road this morning but should join you at Burford and then lunch...

Outstanding day out with the West of England Chapter. Nice to meet some new people and see some old faces. AV8 did a fine job of making my breakfast and supplying me with three cups of tea. We had a good run up the Fosse Way, although the traffic was heavy and unaccommodating (I do wish people would leave overtaking gaps, especially when they see a Trident in the mirror!) Very nice run from Stow to Burford - did we pass one of the team doing the circuit in reverse order? Followed by excellent pub lunch, where we were joined by Graham Graeme and his bargain 3200. Finally, Peter had carefully prepared an excellent route back to Cirencester on fast empty B-roads, so that was nice. Also cool to see the same blue 1960s Corvette Stingray in both directions on the Kemble-Cirencester road.

Lovely!

Glad you are back safe and sound Mark. Graeme and I headed towards Bath so I could dump the car at the spare house and pick up the 4x4... We had a good run towards Bath until a coach pulled oit causing me to have a oh s h i t moment...I was going well at that moment as was the 3200.

I did wonder where you were going for a minute, and then twigged. Good to know your brakes still work. Must be nice to have a 'spare house' as well as a 'spare car'!

What a nice way to spend a morning guys - many thanks. The only shame was not being able to do the whole run - next time definately. Till then happy motoring

First time out for a run in my Gransport (cheers Paul letting me prise her out of your hands), was great to meet some fellow enthusiasts and just chat about things in general, oh and with a bit of car talk as well.
The drive out was at quite a sensible pace, a smooth cruise interspersed with some spirited driving in places ;)
Would I go again, of course I would.

Only got the one photo as we were walking back to the cars to set off.

Good to meet you all and seeing 3 QPVs reminded me how beautiful they look and how Maserati has lost its way in design. I also wish I could add a GS to the Garage as well! Sorry no lunch this time, how was the pork belly Mark?
Here are my photos;

No pork belly! But Venison Tagine was very good.

My QPV has never been seen this clean on an outing before.

Shame I was so late leaving but a great talk over lunch with Mark and Peter and some fun on the way home. I did think it was about to go horribly wrong when that coach pulled out! Nice recovery Peter ;-) Can't wait for the next meet, let's get something in the calendar...

Four SW regional trips already in the planning stage for 2019; starting late spring.

They will be held over a wide range of venues so we can get a many new people together as possible.

All will be couple friendly, non prescriptive to allow people to come and go, and suitable for those with kids to bring them along... but I may look at one just for drivers too.

Sounds good Peter. Already got grassed up by Sam for a quick blast north of 145 on way home!
