Why not, they're quicker to 60 than the MC Shift (due to gear ratios) Same power, no clutch and you still have the paddles.

Not sure where your got that info? As I'm sure it's the other way round. ;)
However, I think the Sport MC-shift is only 0.1sec faster to 60mph than the MC auto. But the thump in the back it gives you when you change gear makes it feel much faster.

That's what I miss from my 4200. The thump

Didn't get it on the DB9 either, although I wasn't pushing it. I doubt I'll get it on a GT Speed, but Mrs C might prefer that....

Hi All,

Car now sold through AutoTrader today, for £2k below asking. I deleted the content of my original post as I had received a deposit from him on Thursday, and didn't want him reading this thread of everyone saying how mental he would have to be to buy my car.

Not sure whether this thread should now be deleted as the car has sold?

Thanks

In my humble opinion he's got a nice car for a fair price, end of. Both parties are happy.
Personally I thought the car was cracking!
So much car for the money with all the upgrades.

Why would the thread need to be deleted? Sounds like something a govt would do to destroy public records to hide content that they don't want the public to find out about. Surely no govt would do that would they?

I think all us old and wise duffers on here forget about the younger generation who are very about all show and no go.

On the other forums I am a member of, when a item sells the thread is deleted to keep the forum "clean".

I take your point but it kind of defeats the object of an open public forum really. It may as well be private if everything isn't kept public.

I can understand some posts or threads being closed and/or removed for certain reasons which is why we have moderators monitoring and managing forums.

I am not sure this is one of these cases though is it? Just an open and frank discussion about a Maserati. Which is what we do here......well in the main.....well in the minority in reality
