Was thinking that Peter. A celebration of a brilliant race car with two underwhelming models. Ugly 4x4 and a Ghibli that costs over 100k. MC20 would have been a better starting point. The new GT cannot come soon enough but until then more specials with different paint and trim.

I suspect it won't be long till the new combined group put Maserati back on the track as their race brand...and why not.

Needs investment and ambition. Look at Aston back in F1 with Lawrence Stroll's money. Personally, couldn't give a rat's ar5e about F1, but that's not the point.

Would be great to see an MC20 at Le Mans or Sebring but IMSA, the FIA, and ACO have managed to shoot themselves in exactly the same foot as last time when they said they were standardising regs and didn’t.
