I'm very tempted. But it's very hard to value and I wouldn't risk going near to that estimate. Certainly, the auction will make for interesting watching.

Most people think you need your brave pants on to buy a Maserati. And then your even braver pants yet for a TVR. So, what do you need to wear for a car that's a combination of the two?!

A brave onesie?

I know why you are tempted though, it looks (and I imagine, sounds) awesome!

If money was no object I would, purely because I like different things to the normal.

I had an early 4.2 Cerb. Always felt like it was on the edge, wisps of blue smoke through the gear lever gaiter at traffic lights, the odd electrical gremlin. Would I have another? Absolutely, I loved it.

I’ve had a 4.2 and 4.5 Cerbera and loved them, especially the 4.5 which was pretty much the first 4.5 Cerb to deliver the Factory claimed 420bhp (took a lot of R&D to achieve). Love that the 4.7 Maserati engine performs so will in this Cerb for sale and appears a well done job.

It’s a hard one to value or desire.

Yes if you look at the components, the time and effort put in it should be desirable and sell for strong money but it’s a gamble.

The owner would have known before commencing such a project that it would not be about the money.

Good luck with the auction.

I think it looks awesome but certainly not for the faint hearted, the Cerbera was always bonkers so why not fit a Maserati heart to increase the madness
