Reluctantly selling my Maserati 4200 GT in Blu Nettuno with beige leather.

This is 6 speed manual gearbox car and has covered 53000 miles.

Comes with a thick history file and I had it serviced less than 500 miles ago at Autoshield Maserati.

I recently had an X pipe fitted and the original resonator, which is in perfect condition is also included.

It does have the usual sticky switch problem which was going to be my next job to do.

Looks and sounds wonderful but unfortunately it has to go.

87017.

87018

87019

87020

I have now advertised it at £12950 and open to sensible offers as I've finally decided it has to go.
Happy to answer any questions or supply more images if required.

Beautiful car, GLWS.
That first pic, with the small classico grill is so pretty, very nice color too.
Our N America cars don't have the M138 tag under the hood, or the one to the left of it, my car has an assembly tag, and to the right of the emissions label, mine has a yellow and black Ferrari inspection sticker.

Like I said in the ad, I will be receptive to any reasonable offers. I paid top money for it last May because it was exactly the car I wanted and then spent 2k on it at Autoshield as it was intended to be a keeper. It owes me around 15k. I am however grown up enough to not expect to recoup all my money back. I have though just declined an offer of £10500 so I suppose somewhere in between.

Sold mine recently for £10K with full history and slightly lower miles.

Ouch!!
May need to recalibrate my expectations then.

Personally I never got on with the first MY of the 4200. Sure the 2005MY that I had was much better but the two model years in the middle seemed much improved too IMHO.

Mind if you want a manual there is little choice and the colour scheme of this one is beautiful.

Well that’s fair enough. I put it into an auction last month because they were not charging any buyers fees, so I had nothing to lose. It didn’t make my 12k reserve and that’s where the 10500 offer was made. Nothing else to see on google as far as I can see. And the car is in Lancashire.

For searchability: BF52RLO

Not quite sure what this means. Am I missing something?

If anyone comes on here in a few years and asks about BF52RLO they’ll be able to find your advert easily.

Lovely looking car. An auction isn’t the best place for a manual as they’re very niche.

Absolutely agree with you and it only went into the auction because there were no sellers fees so it cost me nothing and they were a customer of mine. It was their first physical non-online auction after COVID trying to get their business back on track. Nothing more sinister than that.

I have now got this advertised on PH with a reduced price of £12950.

Both my previous Maseratis sold within days of my adverts going live and were not anything like as nice as this one. I am shocked and bewildered :worried1:
