With some reluctance I've decided to sell my 2001 (Y reg) Maserati 3200GT. I have owned it for a year and a half and in that time it has never let me down. I would love to keep it but I just don't get the time to drive it as much as it deserves (I've only 3000 miles in the 18 months I've owned it). This car is well known on the forum and has been displayed at various shows.

It is a post-2001 car which is generally accepted to be the most desirable. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition having been regularly serviced throughout its life by a combination of main dealers and Maserati specialists. I have a folder full of invoices and the original service book stamped up to 68k miles; the car has since had another major service at Grimaldi just 3000 miles ago.

The timing chain was changed at the correct service interval (68k miles) and all three keys are present - 2 black keys and 1 red master key. These two points are very important to check as replacement costs are £2-3k each. The air-con has also just been re-gassed so is ice cold ready for summer.

Thanks Adam and Andy.

The car's in great condition and I really hope I can find it a good home with someone who'll keep it that way. Funny how you get attached to some cars...
