Long time no see, forum-goers!
I bought my 4200 from the very lovely Andy4200 on the forums a couple of years ago, but the time has come to move it on (realistically, that time came a year ago, but here we are!) to pastures new. I'm doing a lot more miles than I used to, and so the 4200 has sat idle and it really is too good to waste away on my driveway.
I will edit this advert in the week to really flesh out the details, but I'll do my best to summarise the key points here:

Price-wise, I'm happy to consider offers around £8500, with my thinking being that if the airbag/restraint light were sorted and the off-side wing scrape dealt with it'd be much closer to £10,000. The car might represent a bit of a bargain, but I'm content with that in order to get it into the hands of another enthusiast and put that money to good use.

I will edit this advert in the week to really flesh out the details, but I'll do my best to summarise the key points here:
- It's the manual! If you're anything like me, this is almost the most important thing on the page.
- Mechanically, the car is in great condition and has never really let me down - it was my only car for the year after I bought it from Andy, and that included several trips from Cambridgeshire back to my hometown on the West Coast of Scotland, and not for one second did I ever worry it would leave me stranded.
- On this point, Andy did an obscene amount of work to the car over the course of his ownership, and it shows. I believe a lot of that work can still be found on the forums across various threads, and some of it can be very easily seen (like his fabulous job repainting the rocker cover once upon a time). I also have a pen drive that he sent me with hundreds of further pictures of the work he did, which I'm of course happy to provide with the car. Alongside that, there is a thick binder of invoices, receipts, and MOT tests going all the way back to pretty much the original window sticker when the car was new.
- In my ownership, it's had a new thermostat after the original failed, plus the usual consumable bits and pieces as it's needed them, again with receipts available.
- Aesthetically, it is in reasonably good shape for the age and mileage. The only real blemish is thanks to a lovely unknown person from my office's car park who saw fit to scrape the front off-side wing at some point while it was parked. It's minor, and effectively invisible at 10 feet, but I've included pictures of that area specifically for transparency. The interior, however, is great, with no serious wear, and it also benefits from yet more of Andy's work sorting out the sticky switchgear (a project that, again, you can see here on the forum.)
- It's just been serviced and MOT'd, and can of course be driven away very happily. However, the restraint and passenger airbag lights are on - I suspect this is down to a faulty switch, but do not know that for sure. If I had more free time (and free cash...) I'd have that taken care of as well, but alas.
- There is a bluetooth module fitted which works very well! It's a shame it's fitted to the standard stereo in a 4200, which is predictably a bit... meh. Still, I found it very useful!
