Actually I think this is one of Mansory's most resolved projects ever and in fact a significant improvement on the original design invoking clear elements of the MC12 (with an appropriately tinted blue carbon fibre on a white car and with the rear wing, not shown on the whole car image, it would look like a short wheelbase MC12 GT1) and disguising the narrowed 'waistline' of the stock car that makes it look too similar to the Lotus Emira.

So Maserati's aerodynamic department and development team are wrong?

Perfect for the 'look at me' brigade...

Wouldn’t need the full package, but a front splitter and the roof snorkel would add some purpose without being too ridiculous.

Whilst I like a bit of bling (aka carbon fibre) Mansoury just take it a bit too far for my conservative taste. Does the snorkel actually function? Could it help one get through the Rufford ford? I'd pay good money to watch a pajero try it!

Awsome.

It's not trying to be better than the original, just different, more aggressive... Pretty much a race car.

Don't get me wrong, I think the standard one is more beautiful, and much better for the road, but there's definitely a place for both.

It's a bit like the Granturismo. The original one is the most beautiful, the Strad the most aggressive looking, and the sport somewhere in between.

But all awsome in their own way.

What a waste of carbon fibre ! It's child-like in my estimation, just put silly bits of bling anywhere you can. I wouldn't mind betting it was done by a Korean, idiocyncratic,is the polite word for weird, senseless, nonfunctional bling for which the Asians are renowned.

Can you point me to some Korean idiosynchratic car design?
