I have a 2002 Maserati Spyder CC, much loved. Recently experienced the airbag warning light issue. Bought a replacement switch (s/h) and fitted. This is I’m relably informed is where the fault originates. 5 minute job but couldn’t clear the code so warning light still illuminated. Was in Swindon for a meeting so arranged to drop the car into Dick Lovett Ferrari & Maserati Swindon (they gave it its last service at v competitive price. On route the a/c system had a hissy fit and all modes locked . Dick Lovett checked the car over, rebooted, cleared the codes, all resolved. This for the sum of £30. Great service, coffee and biscuits, chats about the car/cars plus offered to look at brokering a sale (I’m moving abroad). Just goes to show that some Franchised outlets still understand customer service and the cars they sell and maintain.

Good to hear. Had similar good sales and service experience from them in the past.

They are indeed. Attentive, accommodating and quite competitive. She's with them as we speak

Not dealt with them for maintenance but their parts department are very amicable and if you ask for a discount they generally match Meridian

Just had my Granturismo back from Dick's in Swindon for a two year service ++

How much do you think?

A 2 year service including:-
Usual fluid changes, gaskets, filters including pollen etc
Brake fluids and ancillary belt changes

Remove rear bumper, reinstall dislodged sensor, clear fault on another sensor, reinstate bumper

Replace both front springs: One had sheared, including replacing all bushes, ball joints and ancillaries : obviously realignment

usual scrupulous valet:

Loan car for a week

Here she is on the way home, Cirencester.

The usual smiles in the eyes, 'oooo what is that?', girls as well as chaps. One DL customer commented to staff how gorgeous she is, and was stunned to be told how old she is.

Mia Ragazza

I'm used to Volvos and (unfortunately) BMW main dealerships.

Soooooo...... The service + the rest? How much do you think?

That's the sort of report that would make me run for the nearest chair to sit down on!
The service £1200, the rest... That's got to be at least another grand...

When I read "Happy Ending", I thought this thread was about something different altogether. :)

Which, according to Mrs Outrun, is exactly what you won't be getting if you splurge any more of your filthy lucre at Ferrari dealers.

Always a good trick. Walk away relieved and grateful. Similarly quotes that actually transpire cheaper on settlement. Funnily usually by the same % each time.

We all know what's going on but it's betterthan the other way around
