Low mileage GS

Don't like when they mask out the number plate, can't do a quick Mot history/milage check.
Maybe something to hide..

I guess it’s just a phone call away, and if you make it clear why you’re asking and still refuse that’s a cause for concern.

The full blue dials were fitted on the very last 4200s and GSs.

A £6K bill is easy in a 4200 / GS, Clutch, bearing and plate, maybe new brake disks (OEM) and you are up to £5k service...then a service and there you are at £6k.

And the gold finished clock was a cost option.

I have blue dials on my 2007 4200 but I'm sure they look darker blue than that bright or paler blue. I could be mistaken but never remembered them to be like that.

I agree a clutch and brakes then service could easily be 6k. However I have done 15k miles and the discs are almost as new and pads have tons of meat left.

Could be corroded faces or anything but something doesn't quite sit right with this car at the moment from a distance. I guess a viewing would clear much up.

It is also missing the left engine bay cover as well which is a little weird and potentially suspect.

That’s nice that is. If the history is reasonable, that’s a good one to keep for a long time. For me, if its been stored correctly for long periods and not serviced, I wouldn’t care too much. A friend of mine bought a famous Maserati Frua that had been in a barn for 30 years for $1.1M. If its not been used then it can be recommissioned correctly.

Does look lovely, and seeing one with that low a mileage is obviously pretty rare and probably is why the price is where it is

It does seem odd that a car with only 10k miles needs a new clutch and cam belt though, and if I were considering a purchase it would be interesting to hear the back story to that.

However, assuming that the story and history checks out, then I think it looks like a great buy. Not entirely sure I could live with the white leather, but it definitely looks smart

LOL...there is room for another but not a GS or another Maser. Maybe room for a little TVR

Maybe a Tuscan Speed Six. Some temptation...

I love the Tuscan...my favourite looking TVR. However the potential bills on top of the I believe a too high entry price has put me off to date.
