Lovely QP Sport GTS

Love this car. Still looks great today and remember when Stuart bought it. If you want a 4.2 QP this has to be worth a look.

Quite a difference between this Sport GTS and the post facelift one from 2009 onwards. That one has the 4.7l & easy to spot oval exhausts. I believe this pre-facelift 4.2 GTS was only offered for 1 year so there are probably not many of them. They did ditch the Skyhook suspension for fixed dampers, but not sure if it has the exhaust flap for sport mode, which is one of the best things on the post facelift Sport GTS.

The 4.2 GTS doesn’t have a switchable exhaust unfortunately. Lovely car though, and the best looking QP of all time. Just a shame they didn’t offer it with the DS gearbox.
This is a relatively inexpensive way into a very good Maserati.

This is the best 4.2 model you can buy and arguably still the prettiest QP series. 4.7 is a different animal but anyone wanting a 4.2 this is the one and considerably cheaper than a 4.7. Getting rid of Skyhook for this model was the best thing they did.

No it's not a 4.7, Yes Richards car is very nice , it's also over double the price

4.2 is a beautiful car. Question is....Would you pay 19k more for the 4.7 version. You get that amazing engine, 2 years younger and 24k less miles on her. That’s still a lot of money extra.

Thanks! Weather awful to drive back in, but it cleared up a bit south of Bath, enough to have a bit of a play. It's awesome and I am so glad I went for it. Great to be back in a Maserati again. Car a testament to Stewart and previous owners.
