Hmm. the sceptic in me wonders if it has owt to do with half the Russian fleet being stuck in the channel???

Could be war games or sonic boom from a secret project or even space junk. It's a pretty haunting sound of deep thumps!

we heard them and it did sound like fireworks but no sign at all, but strange it was heard from Scotland to the south. we have had the RAF and the US airforce practicing bombing runs up on the coast and it did sound bit like that.

years ago when the A10's did there practice runs was told you could hear the Gatling-type cannon in the distance. nice...

got told by a guy have lived round our way in the 60's-70's during the cold war It was nice to know Lincolnshire would have been obliterated first with nukes.
