Looks good, and an enormous amount of car for the money.

I'm no fan of wood in Astons (no jokes, please), but against the red that really does look elegant. It's shame most Astons seems to be spec'd in black, or shades of grey, when they look wonderful in actual colours.

I very nearly bought this Divine Red one, but Mrs Crud said no.

Which is why I took the precaution of not seeking her opinion when I bought my white one.

Divine red is lovely in the sunshine...Saw a new DBS in that colour and it looked stunning. Is that the Divine red one that had at DL Bristol Adam ?

Exactly the one, Andy! To be honest, the divine red carpet did put me off a bit, but the spec was incredible. It had been bought by a chap who's wife rejected it, so it was back at DL and he, presumably, was taking a bath.

In the end, mine for £30k less felt like more of a bargain. The good news is that Vantage V12 prices are staying fairly strong - Aston's failure to produce anything as good as the last of the V12 Vanquish and Vantages seems to have triggered pretty solid demand for these old school, N/A machines.

I had a V12 DB7 some years back, with a sports exhaust the noise was awesome - one day I will have another, most likely a DB11 but have looked at a Vanquish.
The car featured in this post would look rather nice and would almost mast the Jaguar XJ I have just acquired.

Was the V12 DB7 something you could envisage crossing continents in? I've always had a soft spot for their shape, given that I had the poorer cousin 'X100' XK8 that was engineering on the same wheelbase.

When I grow up :))) I'd quite like to tour around Europe with Mrs.Makeshift with the top down of a DB7 V12 Vantage Volante... if that's not too pretentious.

Two children to put through education first, however.

It certainly seems that way Adam......New Vantage continues to drop while Vanquish and V12 Vantage does seem to have slowed. Although a Vanquish between 71and 80k is a lot of loveliness for the money.
