It may surprise some who know my love for the open air, but coupe. In S spec even better.

Great car.....The noise of an S must be one of best sounding engines ever made. i really like this one...White is not normaly I colour that grabs me but on a Vanquish it shows the lines perfectly. I like the two tone interior also but would imagine it’s not for everyone.

Bono wanted to be the new Ian Curtis
He failed on two counts.
My brother was in a band (The Manchester Mekon) at that time and was heavily involved with the Manchester Music Collective scene. You probably saw him play at the Band on the Wall or somewhere.

I have a 'thing' about red cars.... I don't

The other thing I've noticed when trying to find DB9's to test (few and far between) is lots of them don't see to have things like blutetooth and seat memory. I'm rather attached to both of those things, for my sins

For Bluetooth you'd need to put in a Dension. Have a search for Aston Installations, they're the gurus. Often other companies advertise a service and just sub the job to them..

£238k new, big on options admittedly. @MrPea, black interior, red stitching.

Gotcha! That makes sense, although presumably that difference would narrow if you’d compared it to a GTS that had also been spec’d to the gunwales. What did your client pay - 100/110k?

He’s paying me circa £90k; so about double the value of a GT Sport new, double the value now, double the depreciation.
I have a 2.5 year old GT Sport that is £60k, was £133k new, done 14500.

Setting aside the comparisons, what a wonderful car, and a good price.

Both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Vanquish are fine cars and the latter is now fine value with parity with Gen 1 despite being much newer and more sophisticated. Ceramic brakes are the only major issue as £12k to replace discs. Gen 1 is appreciating and seems more sought after, as last of the handbuilt NP Cars before the Gaydon VH gen.

This is my prototype and ex press demo Gen1 S. Photo is taken from a Vantage mag feature on it by Andrew Frankel who drove it for Autocar when new. Looks like I’m doing 100mph but just 20 or so..... and they say the camera never lies! 71110

Been to the Band on the Wall many many times so probs did. I do remember the Mekons if it’s the same band but no memory of actually seeing them
