I saw the same, which oddly enough was just a few % up on the list price of mine when new and with all its options. Factor the cost of money over the last 6/7 years and it's likely not too much of an increase in real terms.

Saw what I think was a new DB12 yesterday. Looked a step up on the DB11. Sounded great until he lifted off and then it sounded like a knob-jockey AMG45. Have all the kids that read Max Power in the 90s gone on to work in exhaust design?

Harry having a poke around. When you see the old car and then the new one you can really see how different the front end is.

This one show the interior. It may be £160k but at least Aston have not pampered to the doom muggers and gone all small engine hybrid or full electric. At least it’s a V8 and they should be applauded for that As don’t think we will see many more new cars coming out without electric help.

The odd thing is that mine (having had some work done) chucks out a bit over 600bhp yet has the same sort of 0-60 time (potentially even a bit faster if you can get the rears to grip) and with the same top end. I'd need to drive the new one, but mine is tremendous fun and ridiculously playful. Whether or not mine lives up to the guff that Aston's marketing wonks have been spewing out for the new model ('Hardwired with the ability to get your heart racing. Forged in the fires of the limit. Not just a shrine to lap times but standing as a symbol to thrill seekers'. What a load of ********) is a matter of personal opinion.

I do like the new one very much but it would have to be a far lower cost to change to even remotely tempt me to swap. Still, I'm very happy that it exists and hope that it sells well.

Unfortunately the one thing we can be fairly sure of is that it won't sell well, as Astons never do (other the the DBX).
How many times have they made a profit in the last 50 years?!
The share price, already a disaster, has halved again in the last 6 months...

The DB12 is magnificent and reviewed well but I heard that you can order one now with minimal delivery delay. I suspect you're right and the Vantage will be similarly available. Current delivery date is Sep and the press demonstrators are still a few months away, but launching a £200k car in the midst of all the world's terrors and dramas and expecting queues around the block might be foolish. I'll be happy to be wrong.
