Looks like my old GS Spyder is up for sale.

That is lovely, but I hadn’t realised the Spyders were so much more expensive...

£50k feels like a lot of money for a 14 year old Gransport with no roof!

Very pretty that and nice to see a red one......If I had 50k though don't think it would be spent on it either...

You will have to excuse my ignorance but is that a fair / realistic price for GS Spyder?

If I was dropping £50k on another car, I wouldn't be looking at that.

If I recall correctly there were only about 23 RHD GranSport Spyders so they have rarity on their side. They have always attracted a bit of a premium, just not as much as a MCV.

I am sure someone like Dicky Grace would be best place if this is a realistic price or not.

That looks fab in RM..........Were there really only 3 UK RHD cars??
3 in rosso mondiale quite likely.

I think 26 or 29 overall rhd uk delivered, out of a total of 44 total worldwide.

1 of 6 aus delivered was rosso mondiale...it sold recently in sydney for under 30k gbp, was in great condition and very low klms... 30k miles... .. New clutch.

No its not realistic. The one at mcgraths... Last of the 2007 run and a beautiful deep green colour... Fetched low to mid 30s. One female owner from memory.

There are now two for sale on classic cars.. One at 49 and one at 44....i suspect they'd need to be mid 30s to move. But they're wonderful to drive.. Hopefully someone sees value at high 30s

I suppose for 50k you can get a GS Coupe and a good one for 25k or lower......and....a QP GTS...…...Yes the GS Spyder is rare but when you put it like that it doesn't look so attractive to me.

I used to have a 4200 Spyder, but passed one recently parked by the side of the road and was surprised by how dated they look - mainly due to the flat boot and hood storage area (plus an ugly aerial on the wing on earlier ones). To my eye they look almost 90s, whereas the 4200 coupe and even more so the Gransport coupe still look fresh. I guess people will always pay for rarity, but another Spyder wouldn't appeal to me now.
