Whilst it's clear you need some sort of diagnosis tool to set bite point, I do wonder which others would do it.

My indy garage's tool had options for gearbox and clutch, but of course I have a manual car. We had a look when resetting my airbag light.

I'm far from an expert, but I can't see why... Surely a machine shop is required to balance them, not a computer...

Except a computer does get used to read balance...Seems rather pointless as I also read SD2/3 always says the same thing ( ie- +0.Xg @ 180degrees)

No SD2/3 needed on a manual then..Good to know ! :)
Needs balanced...? Depends who you ask...

I think the challenge is going to be if you use another machine, how do you know it's right (until it's lunched, of course....)

Makes no difference whether it's a manual or CC...the heavier flywheel is recommended balanced..
I hadnt done more than scan that article so far, in relation to removing the gearbox in fact...

I wonder if those flywheels ( with the corresponding clutch parts) are interchangeable...?
