We need it!

Thurwell is not dead. Carmichael has something to do with it. Davidson looking most likely I reckon. Just got a feeling.....

Yup. Favourite of mine. However I found The Bridge (Scandinavian series of similar ilk), rather more fast paced and more complex.

I think there is a loose end in this series. Corbett's wife is all alive and living freely. Surely if you want to send out a stern message to people about what happens to those who rat out the OCG is to "take care" of the entire family.
Which makes me think Gaffer is involved in some capacity.

Watched The Bridge when I was working in Denmark, the Øresund bridge is some bridge! Went across a few times to Malmø, thought about Stockholm where I've never been and it was another 4hrs on the train! So never bothered.

First series was the best of the bunch... after that they just got silly, rather like the bodyguard.

The writer is a friend of Charlotte's, they trained together in Medicine and corresponded over his first effort 'Cardiac Arrest'.

They've got a lot to do in the last hour.

Viki McClure was at drama school with one of my old HR business partners

The Bridge got pretty **** as soon as Martin decided to go AWOL. Amusing in places mind, but we gave up before series 4.

Still, it was better-written than the subsequent UK seasons of the remake.

Thought the first 2 or 3 episodes were a bit flat but man it’s taken off in recent. Love it.

Jenkins is in the box. Cadwallader looks like a parrot. Newsome might be gay. I have no idea what you are talking about....

The 4th Man is a misleading bit.

It's the new woman taking over the investigation. Or is that too obvious?

And during the long interview scene Carmichael tapped her pen 4 times on the desk quite hard whilst giving Davidson the evil eye. Morse for H, as per Dot Cottan?

I'm enjoying this series. Carmichael is definately (see what I did there) up to something and there's no way they would have someone like James Nesbitt lined up and then kill him without actually putting in an appearance. Looking forward to Sunday - is this the final series or are they making more?

Series 7 planned!

Anna Maxwell-Martin (Carmichael) is such a brilliant actor, so funny in Motherland but a total bittch in this, both utterly convincing....

Holy Mother of God.....
