Levante

Because it's still ugly......Most Maserati have grown on me if I didn't like them at launch the Lefatte still just hasn't. Shame as it had good reviews...Shame they didn't put as much effort into the rest of the range as this. Although with a V8 Ghibli on the wY there is hope. But if you like the looks then prices have fallen and sure it's a good buy.

The ad describes the Levante as a grey V6 petrol vehicle, when it's a red V6 diesel. That doesn't inspire confidence in the dealer, but the price looks decent if it's otherwise correct.

I'm with Andy on this one.

IMO they are also not good enough cars when stacked up against the competition. I had one for 3 months and the Mercedes GLC Coupe my wife had before was a better car in almost every way (in fairness the Levante sounded better and the badge has more Kudos).

It may have lost a bucket load of money but so have many other premium brands. I CBA to look but I'd wager that similar money buys you a better Merc / Alfa / Land Rover / Jaguar.

I like the styling, it's just the interior which is lacking in my eyes. Otherwise i'd be all over it. Have you looked at the Stelvio? Something different to the german brands but cleaner interior.

If I were in the market for an SUV Id probably go for the Stelvio. However, I like the Levante and it has a lot of road presence when you see one

The driving dynamics of the Stelvio would swing it for me though.

I'm on the fence with this one... in the right spec and with bigger alloys, they look glorious. I saw one parked up in Reigate high street a few months ago and I couldn't help but think 'niiiice'.

There is something not quite right about the looks of them. The Levante is easily the least well designed current production Maserati. I had an e-mail the other day from Graypaul and they were doing £11.5k off a £60k car and that was the petrol and was the opening offer. I presume the diesel would be cheaper?

They drive well - the air suspension is impressive - but the interior space is tight versus the external footprint.

The back of the car is just really bland.....Just expected more flare from Maserati...…..Even though I don't like the front they have tried to add some flare but the back must have been designed close to home time.
