Sorry, I'm not buying all this negative vibe on this chat regarding the Levante Trefeo. Any way you look at it, it is impressive in terms of it's spec, performance, it's presence, it's competitiveness to other marques and in terms of this particular car market ( Chelsea tractor or not) it is a leader for speed, 0-60, power etc..... I also think the Levante is by far the best looking SUV out there, I do add I'm not an SUV buyer and doubt I ever will be, but out of them all I think the Levante is the best looking with the most impressive presence. To a lot of you on here, I know you think they haven't put the right engine in the right hole of the appropriate vehicle, that as maybe. But far from indicating Maserati has lost its way or aimed at the wrong end of the market, my view is it shows a progressive, forward thinking, design & power concious brand that are not scared to step up and have a go at the competition. I believe this Trofeo could just make a mark to the motoring world that Maserati are here, will be staying here and look out other marques, we're out to eat your lunch (es)..... Just my view .....

Negative? Reading this thread I would say this is a very positive step for the brand and one we welcome. We understand the need to produce cars that the market want but Maserati should never forget their USP, fast, gorgeous and stylish GT cars that are anything but run of the mill.

Even I think this is a great step forward performance wise and I have never been a Levante fan but it’s anout being competitive and it feels this will be. A great platform to move forward.
