I must have missed the memo on how brilliant it is to put LED globes in place of the standard ones.
Just saying, if you missed the memo / post get on it as it makes an awesome difference for very little cost.
I spent AUD 15 each from the local auto parts chain.

They are very good.

One word of warning whilst on the subject of LED lights, don't change your sidelights to led bulbs. I makes the bulb failure light stay on the dash and is very annoying.

Cant you add a resistor to cure that? Thought I read that somewhere maybe on ML. I don't like LEDs anyway, too LEDdy.......

You mean the side blinkers, near the wheel arch? Or the ones below the headlights?

What's the advantage - is it just brightness?
Eb
Hi Eb, the standard interior globes give a yellowish glow which emphasises the yellow in my avorio ( ivory ) interior.
The LED's have a white light which is much more to my preference and is much brighter.
Makes my interior look great.

Sidelights, in the headlights, tail lights, numberplate lights
If you buy LED bulbs that are 'CANBUS ERROR FREE' then there's no problem - I've changed all of my rear and front light bulbs. The front & rear indicators, reversing lights, number plate lights, front & rear fog lights, front side lights and the difference is truly amazing (much brighter, much safer). It's taken me a while to find the small side repeater flasher bulbs but they should be here tomorrow so will fit those too....

Great tip, thanks.

Any chance you put a little list with links so others can do the upgrade?

Sure - I got them from Amazon & Ebay but here are the links for bulbs that don't put the bulb warning light on:

Amazon:
Number plate, interior lights, boot light (I think also glove compartment)
Indicator bulbs
Brake lights
Rear fog lights
Side repeater flashers (not tested yet) Only ordered these today - haven't received them yet.

Ebay:
Maserati logo door floor lights
Interior lights (I think) The interior lights use various types
Front position lights (It was a while ago I fitted them but I think I used these ones)
I can't remember which bulbs exactly for the headlights and fog lights (as I ordered similar for my Fiances car about the same time) - But anyway OSRAM Nightbreaker are the ones to go for - they really do give 150% of the light and hugely improved the dipped beam performance

https://kaleistyleguide.com/cars/comment/unexpected-brexit-bonus-dazzling-clarity/

interesting article about swapping out halogen and replacing with LEDs and the possible MOT failure implications.

This:
So as long as the lights were working, aimed properly and with the correct beam pattern, your car passed its MOT.

Rather contradicts this:
And that meant that you could go on the internet, find any old trader delighted to sell you an ‘LED upgrade’ to your existing halogens and off you went, possibly blinding everyone in your path.

I’m with you Catman. Have only used good quality (night breaker) bulbs.
Having said that - I’d like to see theMOT guy that will bother to check - it’s a right pain to change the bulbs (even just replacing an original with like for like), as anyone who has tried will attest!!
