Hi, I have a QPV which I foolishly let my wife use with the kids. My boy kindly rubbed the leather off (see picture). Does anyone have any pointers for who might fix this in the London area? I’ve tried googling but not much joy. Also, does anyone know whether the tray comes out separately or not? Cheers

You see loads of QP for sale with that damage. Must be easily done. Always wondered if it was an easy repair.

I used these guys b-trim in Enfield on a BMW I had twenty years ago. They did a fantastic job and were reasonably priced. Bear in mind this was a long time ago so not sure how they are these days.

It's exactly where you want to put your foot if you are a child in the back! You need to remove foot from child!
My rear seats have almost never been sat in, and consequently the leather feels quite hard and unforgiving. Any thoughts on how to make it more supple? I've tried leather nourishing etc, but suspect that as with all modern leather , its coated and therefore impermeable!

It can be removed, about 16 screws if I remember from last time I did it. It can then be re-covered or connolised. It could be connolised in situ. Don’t know anyone in London though.

as per dickygrace, get it removed and then to a professional car upholsterer/trimmer, should be an easy job for them, surely there must be loads of trimmers in the London area or failing that a bit of gaffer tape;)

It won't be leather it will be synthetic.

All that is real is the bits you hold or sit on directly
It is the same as the rear shelf. Vinyl bonded to foam. The ex Aston factory trimmer I took my rear shelf to could do nothing with it. Vinyl is super thin, no backing so tears and no glue would stick it back together.

Wheelybin could lend you a child. I've heard they do a good job of breaking in trim.
